FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Razorbacks are set to play SEC West rivals Ole Miss in football at War Memorial Stadium on Oct. 13, 2018.

The game is part of the 70th anniversary season of War Memorial Stadium, which opened in 1948.

Although the 2018 schedule was released before the announcement, this is the first time the War Memorial Stadium game was revealed. The game will be the 16th meeting of the Razorbacks and Rebels Little Rock, including the first time since 2012.

The game also marks the 110th anniversary of the initial meeting between Arkansas and Ole Miss on the football field. Arkansas won 33-0 in a 1908 game played in Fayetteville. The teams met for the first time in Little Rock in 1913 and have played at War Memorial Stadium two previous times (1992, 2012) since Arkansas entered the SEC for the 1992 football season. Arkansas leads the overall series 36-27-1, including a 38-37 win over Ole Miss in Oxford this season.
