A fatal one-vehicle rollover accident took place at approximately 3:35 p.m. in the 400 block of West Republican Road, north of Jacksonville.
The person who died was the passenger of the vehicle.
Accident reconstruction is on the way out to the scene.
The road will be shut down until about 6:30 p.m., according to Lieutenant Cody Burk.
An adult female died, and the driver was a juvenile male. It was not a parent-child relationship, reports say.
