Over 50K Arkansans without power following winter weather

More than 50,000 Arkansans are facing power outages after winter storms moved through the state on Tuesday.

ARKANSAS, USA — As of 7:30 a.m., more than 50,000 Arkansans are facing power outages following the winter weather that moved through the state on Tuesday.

The total number sits at 56,397 customers, with the following providers seeing the most significant outages: 

  • Entergy: 19, 250 customers
  • North Arkansas Electric Cooperative: 13, 521 customers
  • Southwestern Electric Power Co.: 5,590 customers

The vast majority of outages are impacting the northern and western portions of the state, with Fulton, Marion, and Madison counties seeing the worst of the outages.
