Christmas Frolic kicks off the holiday season

Families continued their family tradition or started new ones at the Historic Arkansas Museum's 45th Annual Christmas Frolic and Open House, Sunday, December 2, 1 - 4 pm. Since 1967, the Frolic has delighted kids and grown-ups alike, teaching them the Virginia Reel in the museum's Hinderliter Grog Shop (c. 1826), the oldest standing building in Little Rock. The Frolic was free and open to the public.

Craig O'Neill and Dawn Scott are competing in a Ring-Off to benefit The Salvation Army. The two will set up separate malls, McCain and Park Plaza, on Monday, Nov. 26. Each will spend two hours ringing bells and collecting money for The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign, which helps families in need during the holidays.
