LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Another location in Little Rock was serving Thanksgiving dinner to people in need. This group of volunteers came from Watershed and Moody Chapel AME Church.
The goal for these locations was to serve 5,000 meals at two locations.
Reverend Hezekiah Stewart said the meals would not have been possible without countless volunteers, donors, and one person in particular.
"We had a donor, an anonymous donor, who bought us enough food for 5,000 meals. So we thank God today, and we are truly grateful and thankful to Him for the blessings of being able to feed the multitude," he exclaimed.
A donation of $150 could feed a family of 10 people, according to Reverend Stewart.
He expressed appreciation and also urged people to help with baskets for the upcoming Christmas season.
