Great dips to start your party

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Deanna Fleming with Catering Creations shared these great dip recipes.

Blue Cheese Dip 

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 pound crumbled bleu cheese
Chopped chives, to taste
Worcestershire sauce
Celery salt
Salt and Pepper

DIRECTIONS
Puree 1 1/2 cups sour cream, 3/4 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 pound crumbled blue cheese. Add chopped chives, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, and celery salt and pepper to taste. Serve with raw vegetables and Rippled Chips.

Roasted Garlic Bacon Dip

INGREDIENTS
2 heads garlic
Olive oil
6 slices cooked bacon

DIRECTIONS
Cut the tops off 2 heads garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil and bake at 400 degrees until tender, 45 minutes. Make Onion Dip using the roasted garlic pulp in place of the sauteed onions. Add 6 slices chopped crisp bacon. Serve with Rippled Chips.

Ricotta-Tomato Dip

INGREDIENTS
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup ricotta

DIRECTIONS
Simmer 2 cups tomato sauce in a small skillet. Add 1 cup ricotta in dollops and warm through. Garnish with basil and drizzle with olive oil.

Or make it a pizza dip by adding diced mozzarella and pepperoni before baking.

Spicy Ranch Dip

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup minced red onion
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp ranch dressing mix powder
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 clove minced garlic
1 tbsp chopped chives
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped chipotles in adobo sauce

DIRECTIONS
Whisk all of the ingredients together; season with salt.
