Microwave Bread & Butter Pickles

1 or 2 peeled cucumbers slick to desired thickness 1 finely chopped onion (or sliced if you prefer)I use red m,akes it zesty tasting 1 c sugar 1/2 c white vinegar 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp mustard seed 1/4 tsp celery sedd 1/4 tsp tumeric Combine all ingredients in a large glass bowl,and cook on High(depending on your microwave)until tender 10-15 mins.Keep in ice box for daily use,you may also "can" the pickles in hot water bath and shelf life is about 6 months.
