Ed Buckner, Tom Brannon participating in ‘Real Men Wear Pink' campaign

THV11's Ed Buckner, Denise Middleton & Craig O'Neill talk about the importance/mission behind the "Real Men Wear Pink" campaign.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – It’s October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and THV11 is joining the Real Men Wear Pink campaign again.

THV11’s Tom Brannon is participating in honor of his mother-in-law who passed away from breast cancer in 2015 and for his wife Leigh Ann, a survivor.

Ed Buckner is participating in honor of his mother who died after a five-year battle with breast cancer in 2001.

The two THV11 men are tag teaming to raise as much money as possible to support The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides against Breast Cancer. All the funds raised will go towards innovative research, providing free support to anyone touched by breast cancer and help people reduce their breast cancer risk.

The campaign was started by the central Arkansas office and it was so successful, it is now a national campaign.

You can now donate to Ed & Tom’s page, just click here. Their goal is $2,500.

THV11 is challenging men to wear pink during the month of October and send us photos using the hashtag #BeOn11.
