CROSS COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) — The bodies of two newborns were found in a purple suitcase 1:43 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 in a ditch along CR 602 in Cross County, according to Detective Sergeant Jeff Nichols with the Cross County Sheriff's Office.
A preliminary autopsy determined the babies were 32 to 34 weeks old and one was female.
The babies appear to be twins.
