Police looking for person of interest in 16-year-old's shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Little Rock police detectives are trying to identify the person in two photos they released Saturday, Nov. 25. He has been labeled a person of interest in the shooting of a 16-year-old near Mabelvale Cutoff and Warren Drive on Nov. 22.

Police said in a Facebook post that they match the description of the suspect and the person in question was seen in the area at the time of the shooting. Identification is all that police are looking for, as no warrants have been issued in the case.

Little Rock police are investigating a shooting in which a 16-year-old girl was shot while riding in a car with her mother and several other people on the morning of Nov. 22.

According to police, the victim was shot when someone standing near the road began firing at the vehicle. It is not yet known how many times the suspect shot at the vehicle.
