Pulaski County Youth Services employee arrested for rape of teen boy

George Edwin Haney was arrested at almost midnight on Nov. 10 when officers approached him in a vehicle with a teen boy at Pike View Elementary School in North Little Rock.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A Pulaski County Youth Services employee has been arrested for rape after police approached him in a car with an approximately 14-year-old boy. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Pike View Elementary School, according to North Little Rock Police.

George Edwin Haney, 27, is listed with a White Hall address on the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office inmate roster. Haney is being held without bond.

According to the arrest disposition report, the officer noticed a white Chevrolet Malibu parked at the school with fogged windows. He then shined his flashlight in the car's backseat and saw the victim raise his head from Haney's lap.

The teen was wearing boxers and began clothing himself when the officer opened the back door. When questioned, the boy said Haney messaged him on an app and arranged to pick him up outside his house. He said that Haney then allegedly forced him to have anal and oral sex.
