LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Horace Mann Middle School's Community Partner, Garver Engineers donated Chromebooks to the school's lab science class on Nov. 9.
The gift makes it possible for students to connect with learning tools 24 hours a day. Having these tools at a young age is important for kids, a Garver spokesperson said.
"I think from the students we can see that, just in the way they interact with the computers and software,"Craig Leone, a project manager with Garver, said. "You have the crime scene here that they're going to be working with and using those computers to kind of look at real world situations and maybe solve some problems."
Horace Mann's administration said they plan to match the donation with more Chromebooks.
