Hillcrest Kroger employee car-jacked at gunpoint

According to Little Rock police, a 27-year-old Kroger employee was car-jacked at gunpoint at the Beechwood location shortly before midnight on Wednesday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – According to Little Rock police, a 27-year-old Kroger employee was car-jacked at gunpoint at the Beechwood location shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

The employee told police that while he was in his car when a man exited a U-Haul truck and walked up to ask for directions. When he turned to look at the man, he had a large handgun put in his face.

The suspect then told the victim to exit the vehicle and walk away. The suspect then left the area in the victim’s car heading toward Kavanaugh. Officers attempted to track the vehicle using the victim’s cell phone that was still in the vehicle, but it had been turned off.

The vehicle is a 2006 white Dodge Stratus with Arkansas LPN 574VAU.
