Adopt a canvas in Arkansas Heart Gallery, help kids find their forever family

The online gallery and free-standing exhibition presented by Project Zero is meant to be home to beautiful photos of the 375 children in waiting, but it costs money to produce those photos, as well as to produce short biography-like films about the kids.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Over the years, we've shared many stories of Arkansas children waiting to be adopted in "A Place To Call Home," and often, at the end of those stories, THV11's Dawn Scott mentions the "Heart Gallery."

The online gallery and free-standing exhibition presented by Project Zero is meant to be home to beautiful photos of the 375 children in waiting, but it costs money to produce those photos, as well as to produce short biography-like films about the kids. At this time, there are several blank images waiting to be filled with children's smiling faces.

Friday, February 9, community members have the chance to see the free-standing exhibit at Little Rock's First Baptist Church on Rodney Parham Rd. as THV11 broadcasts live between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Visitors can see the canvases, as well as adopt-a-canvas.

Organizers at Project Zero say $50 can sponsor a canvas in three heart galleries, while a $500-$1,000 donation can help produce a short film.

Visitors can donate on-site, or online at this link.
