Warm up for a good cause on Soup Sunday

Soup Sunday, a popular fundraiser for the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, is set for January 28

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Mark your calendar for January 28 if you want the chance to sample some of the tastiest soups around town under one roof.

It’s Soup Sunday, a popular fundraiser for the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families.

Capi Peck, owner and executive chef at Trio’s Restaurant, will be the Featured Chef of the 37th annual event and THV11’s Rob Evans will emcee the event.

Regular admission adult tickets are $25 in advance - ($30 after 5 p.m. on Friday, January 26). Tickets for children 5-17 are $10 and children younger than 5 are free. Regular admission gets you all the soups, breads and desserts the main ballroom can hold - plus the silent and live auctions, music, dancing, and all manner of soup-fueled frivolity.

Patron tickets are $50 each - ($60 after 5 p.m. on January 26). Purchase of a Patron ticket will get you access to the Patron room, where you'll enjoy soup and special appetizers from Trio's, complimentary beer and wine, and special desserts that won't be available in the main ballroom. And of course, you don’t have to stay in the Patron room. You'll also have access to the main ballroom to enjoy all the soups and the live and silent auctions.

The event will take place on Sunday, January 28 at the Statehouse Convention Center from 4-7 p.m.
