Learn basketball skills from Warriors' Stephen Curry in a virtual class

Stephen Curry will be teaching 15 online virtual basketball lessons for $90.
Stephen Curry #30 of the Golden State Warriors reacts to a play in Game 5 of the 2017 NBA Finals at ORACLE Arena on June 12, 2017 in Oakland, California.

Two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry will be teaching online virtual basketball courses as part of a partnership with MasterClass, an online educational platform for everyday individuals that offers classes taught by experts in their specific fields.

Other instructors (or professors) include Martin Scorsese (filmmaking), Samuel L. Jackson (acting), Steve Martin (comedy), Christina Aguilera (singing) and fellow athlete Serena Williams (tennis).

The website advertises 15 lessons for $90 in which Curry breaks down mechanics, drills, mental attitude and scoring techniques. It boasts: "Then see through Stephen's eyes as he analyzes NBA game footage to help you elevate your basketball IQ."

Curry's relatable stature (6-foot-3) was marketed as well as his work ethic that got him to be an elite NBA player. "Stephen was barely recruited by college coaches," it reads.

"For me, it's a cool learning process because I actually get to articulate a lot of the things that are pretty natural to me, but it might not be natural to others," Curry told ESPN. "It came together really nicely. The visuals and the production are unbelievable. It allows me to explain all the things that I do to get better.

"There is no dunking chapter. So, if you're looking for that, then this is the wrong place to go."

In many ways, Curry is hoping to turn the curriculum he teaches into the Pistol Pete's Homework Basketball tapes of this generation but on an enhanced level.

"I want people to see how I invest in my game, how I train, what I do in my workouts and what's my mental approach," Curry said. "The goal is for everybody to get better and enjoy basketball more. I want them to push and challenge themselves and hopefully they see the game differently."
