Arkansas Mission of Mercy offers free dental work in Conway

Volunteers are offering completely free dental work to those in need on April 27 and 28 at the Conway Expo Center.

CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) — A free dental event for all ages is set for April 27 and 28 at the Conway Expo Center.

The Arkansas Mission of Mercy has no eligibility or income requirements and treats patients on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors open at 6 a.m. each day but people often line up before then. Tents are not allowed.

Services include cleanings, fillings and extractions.

Guardians must accompany children younger than 18 at all times. This means that guardians and their children may not be treated on the same day unless another guardian is present to watch the child while the other guardian is being treated.

Bring a list of current medications, enough baby supplies for a full day and reading material. Concealed weapons are not permitted.

Once you enter the building, you may not leave until you have received treatment.

Spanish translators will be available.

The event is sponsored by Delta Dental, the Arkansas State Dental Association and Walmart.
