Taziki's break ground at McCain Mall in NLR

McCain Mall's is adding some Mediterranean flair to its food scene. The North Little Rock mall announced Thursday that Taziki's Mediterranean Café has broken ground there and will open in early fall. The restaurant will be next to the Regal McCain Mall Stadium 12 & RPX, and feature an outdoor patio. Google Glass may be ready for public

Google's Glass Explorer program is once again open to anyone with a web browser and $1,500. After last week's "one-day" sale event, Google's product page showed all models of Glass as sold out. Google has apparently restocked all colors and frame models, although they have not made an announcement regarding Glass sales without an Explorer invite. It should be noted that I did not complete a sales transaction, and this could simply be a mistake on Google's part. Update: Google's sale page once again lists all Glass models as sold out. Sorry!

Easy tips on saving money

New savers face a lot of complex decisions all at once. Even if you know the choices in your 401(k) -- this fund buys stocks, this one bonds -- you have to decide how much risk to carry. You may worry about what would happen if you make a mistake. The options can be paralyzing. Fortunately, investment choices don't matter much yet. In the early phase, the amount you put into the market is small compared with how much you'll invest over the decades. So if you feel nervous about buying stocks before you've learned the ropes, fine. That's the thinking behind a new retirement plan in the U.K.

Ronald McDonald gets makeover

Ronald McDonald is going chic. Or, at least he's certainly trying to. The McDonald's icon famous for his wild red hair, yellow jumpsuit and floppy shoes, has gotten a makeover from a theatrical stylist – really – who has updated just about everything but the shoes. The new Ronald sports a red blazer, a red bow tie, red-and-white striped rugby shirt, yellow vest and, yes, yellow cargo pants. His hair is more coiffed. His vibe is less creepy. And – how shall we politely say this? – he looks slightly less clown-like.
