Lights & Lullabies travel mobiles recalled due to injury hazard

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – VTech is issuing a recall for the Lights & Lullabies travel mobiles according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The clamp attaching the mobile to the crib railing can break off, causing the mobile to fall which poses an injury hazard to the infant in the crib.

VTech has received six reports of the clamp cracking. No injuries have been reported.

The recall covers about 37,000 mobiles sold in the United States and in addition 4,800 were sold in Canada.

The recalled mobiles were sold in pink and blue. Model numbers are 80-503000 (Blue) and 80-503050 (Pink).

The pink mobiles were sold exclusively on Amazon.com. Others were sold at Kmart, Walmart, Amazon.com, and Zulily.com from February 2017 through November 2017.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mobiles and contact Vtech at 800-521-2010 for a full refund or a replacement product.
