Soon you may not have to exercise to get into shape. University of Texas scientists in Houston are working on an exercise pill. So far it's only been tested on mice, but the mice have lost weight.
Researchers say the pill tricks the muscle with two different chemicals. They hope this will help those who can't exercise, stay fit.
Chief pediatrican at Shriner's Hospital, Dr. Lynnette Mazur says, "That would definitely, definitely help people with limited mobility become more fit."
The pill doesn't give you all the benefits of exercise and it won't be available for at least another 10 years.
