Sheriff's Lt. John Foster said 21-year-old Edward Youngblood was arrested Wednesday.
The arrest stemmed from the shooting death Monday of 37-year-old Christina Pitts.
Sheriff Bill Gilkey said in a news release Tuesday that deputies were called to the scene after 3 p.m., when Pitts' boyfriend returned home from work and found the body.
