Lisa received a bachelor's degree in counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas.
Her passion for journalism sparked from her broadcasting program at Searcy High School where she was awarded Broadcast Journalist of the Year for 2006 by the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association. She began her career early at the age of 15 with a local channel, TV3 as a production assistant shooting and editing sports and news content. She eventually moved into radio when she returned to Searcy from college.
When Lisa isn't reporting, you can find her cooking, reading some of her favorite books and enjoying the great outdoors Arkansas has to offer. She enjoys jogging bike trails and spending her summers camping.
