LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Since Tuesday morning began, Arkansas Million Dollar Raffle tickets have sold at an average rate of more than 1,000 tickets per hour, bringing in more than $300,000 in gross revenue by 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The sale of Arkansas Million Dollar Raffle tickets ends at midnight Wednesday. More than 400,000 tickets had been sold as of last weekend, and heavy sales have been reported this week.
When the drawing is held, there will be two $1 Million winners along with 540 $1,000 winners and 600 $100 winners. Lottery officials say that means the raffle has the best odds for a higher tier prize of any game offered by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.
Total Raffle sales currently exceed $4.5 Million. The drawing will take place Thursday, with results posted tomorrow afternoon on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website and available at all retailers.
