Born in St. Louis ("Go Cardinals, Blues and Rams!"), Matt Buhrman attended graduate school in his hometown, earning a Master of Arts Degree in Communications Management at Webster University.
Matt also attended Saint Louis University (proud home of the Billikens) as an undergrad, studying Communication and Film. During his senior year he joined SLU News 22 as a reporter and anchor, where he developed a passion for journalism.
He worked at KSDK-TV NewsChannel 5 in St. Louis as a production assistant, before his first on-air job in southeast Iowa as a reporter, producer and anchor at KTVO-TV in Ottumwa.
He currently produces "THV 11 This Morning Saturday" and is a multi-media journalist for THV 11.
Aside from work Matt enjoys fishing, golfing and especially classic movies. He is also a fan of music artists: Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Andy Williams. But most of all, he likes to spend time with family and friends.
