LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - If you have ever wondered what it's like living inside the Arkansas Governor's Mansion, you now have a chance to get a glimpse.

Open House: the Arkansas Governor's Mansion and Its Place in History is a new book that provides a unique look at Arkansas's history through stories and photos of governors and their families who have resided in the Governor's Mansion over the years.

John P. Gill, Little Rock attorney and historian, interviewed most of the Mansion's living occupants, including the McMath children, President Bill Clinton and family, Governor Mike Huckabee and wife, and First Lady Ginger Beebe.

Gill was able to include stories from several of the Mansion administrators throughout the years. Most photos included in the book have never been seen, and many of them were provided from the families' personal collections.

The book is available at River Market Books and Gifts in Little Rock, at many bookstores statewide, or online.
