Today's Web Report: Tracking Santa on NORAD

Little Rock, Ark. (KTHV) -- For more than 50 years, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, better known as NORAD, voluntarily tracks Santa every year for the entire world. Since it's already December, it's time to join the NORAD team and start tracking Santa now.

It's easy, just head on over to the Santa tracking site at NORAD to see all the fun you can take part in this year.

This annual, Christmas-themed event follows Santa Claus as he leaves the North Pole and delivers presents to children around the world.

On the homepage, you can keep track of the days until Santa arrives with the official Santa countdown. And on Christmas Eve, you can track Santa live in a number of ways. There is a countdown on the homepage or you can download an application to track Santa on your phone or you can even download Google Earth for free to follow Santa.

You can come back to this website every day to check out the new surprises in the Kids Countdown Village. This section is packed with some great holiday fun for all ages. Santa's Village has a variety of games and activities. Just scroll your mouse over each of the icons to see what you can do.

Curious about Santa's little helpers are doing right now? Just click on the shops inside the village to see how the elves are preparing for Christmas.

This site is a fun way to learn a little and have fun when it comes to Christmas. If you're wondering what NORAD is all about and what they do when they're not tracking Santa, just click on the About NORAD section. Here, you'll find out why the folks at NORAD spend so much time tracking Santa for the world.

NORAD provides up to the minute details of Santa's location for eager children during his epic journey to spread joy and cheer to the children of all ages across the globe. Be sure to check it out for yourself before December 25th!
