    UNDATED (KTHV) -- We know from years of experience that the new year brings hope, promise and determination about changing our diet and exercise routine.

    All of us give 120% in the beginning but the problem is that we tend lose the vital motivation that drives us to keep going.

    Sandie Ward-Knight, co-owner of Fines Lines Personal Training, has several tips on how you can stay motivated beyond the first few months. 

    1. Write down your goals

    2. Post a picture of yourself when you liked your appearance

    3. Set reasons why you are trying to reach your goal

    4. Set small goals
