OZARK, Ark. (KFSM) -- Funeral arrangements have been made an Ozark teenager who was shot and killed, allegedly by her own brother, Sunday.
According to KFSM, a memorial will be held for Candace Brooke Harvey, 16, at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ozark High School activities center, with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark, according to an obituary listed on the funeral home's website.
Harvey was a student at Ozark High School, a member of the FCA club and played Lady Hillbillies basketball.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Shaffer Funeral Home located at 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Candace Harvey Memorial Fund at Bank of The Ozarks, according to the obituary.
A judge ruled Tuesday afternoon Harvey's 15-year-old brother accused of killing her will remain in police custody for first degree murder.
Prosecuting Attorney David Gibbons expects the boy will be formally charged as an adult by Friday. He is currently being held on a $750,000 bond.
If found guilty of first degree murder, the teenager could receive a sentence of 40 years to life in prison.
