LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Here are some fun ideas for the whole family.

LANTERNS!
Wildwood Park for the Arts
Thursday - Saturday
Wildwood Park's fourth annual LANTERNS! Festival brings eight cultural vistas to light in the winter woodlands of the botanical gardens. Inspired by the first full moon of the lunar year, walkways are lit with lakeside fire pits and cultural luminaries, where visitors encounter a warming selection of international foods and entertainments from Asia, India, Shakespearean England, Paris, Rio de Janiero, Venice, old Americana and even the Moon. $10, children ages 6-12 $5, children under 6 FREE. Open 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Thursday - Saturday.

CANstruction
Clinton Center
CANstruction is a design/build competition that puts a visual spotlight on hunger while showcasing the design community of central Arkansas. Local architecture firms compete with each other to build giant sized structures made entirely out of canned food. The creations will be on view to the public as giant art exhibits. At the close of the exhibit, all cans will be donated to the Arkansas Foodbank. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Sat. and 1-5 p.m. Sun.

Arkansas Wildlife Series: the Groundhog
Witt Stephens Nature Center
Saturday, 11 a.m.
It's time for the woodland weatherman to make his annual (usually incorrect) forecast. Visitors will learn more about the groundhog's actual role in nature, even exploring the workings of the hibernator's underground home.
