HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - Kevin Duck, a person of interest in Dawna Natzke's death, was arrested on probation violations.
The Garland County Sheriff's Office says that Duck, Natzke's boyfriend, was arrested by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana on Wednesday on a probation violation. Duck's arrest was not made in conjunction with Natzke's murder.
Duck had been on probation in Hot Spring County for aggravated assault back in October 2009. He was due to come off probation later this year. According to his probation officer, Duck began skipping appointments. A warrant was issued, and Duck was arrested Wednesday.
According to the Calcasieu Parrish Sheriff's Office, after an anonymous call was made, deputies picked Duck up from a small hotel in Lake Charles, LA. He surrendered without incident.
A spokesperson for the sheriff's office says that they expect that he will be returned to Arkansas sometime this week.
