LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Tonight's Craig's Twist on a twist. Several twisties, if you will.
My commentary in the form of brief little commentaries. Beginning with the Republicans. All this mudslinging in this primary, even former first lady Barbara Bush called it the worst she's ever seen.
But, there is one candidate who is uniting the Republicans more than any one out there.
President Obama. The glue cementing the GOP. In an earlier Craig's Twist, I pointed out that the only real number we need in predicting the U.S. economy was the price of gas.
As we all know it has gone up. And guess what. The stock market has come to a screeching halt. Betcha unemployment goes back up to in May. And I still say, where gas is in September determines where President Obama will be in November.
Point three: Smart phone etiquette. We all use these.
I propose that when people are visiting, face to face, and someone pulls out an i-phone -- that before that someone starts texting or checking e-mail or Facebook -- as a common courtesy, the user simply asks: "Mind if I use my i-phone?"
Like in the old days a smoker would ask: Mind if I smoke?
Abrupt "i-phonage" breaks the personal face to face connection.
