GARLAND COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Deputies in Garland County are investigating a homicide.
On Thursday evening, deputies received a call from a friend of the deceased who had been trying to contact him for several days, but was unable to reach him.
Deputies say they found the body of Frank Huneycutt, 45, inside a home on Addison Road in Pearcy. They say he appeared to have been there for an extended period of time.
According to deputies, there were no immediate signs of foul play and because Huneycutt had been there for an extended period time, they were unable to find signs of trauma.
Police say the deceased was sent to Arkansas State Crime Lab.
Although the autopsy is unfinished, deputies received an informative call Friday from the Crime Lab, which leads authorities to investigate the death as a homicide.
Deputies say investigators are still at the home gathering and processing evidence.
Investigation is ongoing and at this point, deputies say they do not have a motive or suspect.
