BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A Blytheville woman has claimed a Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million.
Lottery officials say Paulette Hodges of Blytheville claimed the prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Jonesboro Claim Center on Thursday.
The Blytheville Courier News reports that Hodges won the prize in the March 23 drawing by matching all five white ball numbers and purchasing the multiplier, which was five.
The ticket was purchased at Flash Market in Blytheville.
Hodges, the mother of Blytheville City Council member Monte Hodges, says she plans to use part of her winnings to remodel her home and save the rest.
