U. of Ark. trustees rename 3 campus buildings

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas Board of Trustees has voted to name three buildings on the Fayetteville campus in honor of two former chancellors and for the mother of a former UA president and U.S. senator.

The board voted Thursday to name Engineering Hall the John A. White Jr. Engineering Hall and a residence hall as the Willard B. Gatewood Jr. Hall in honor of two former chancellors.

The trustees also agreed to name a dining hall the Roberta Fulbright Dining Hall at the Northwest Quad. Fulbright was the mother of former UA president and U.S. Sen. J. William Fulbright. Roberta Fulbright was also publisher of the Northwest Arkansas Times.
