TOLLETTE, Ark. (KTHV) - A man accused of abducting his 18-month-old daughter turns himself in.
The Howard County Sheriff's Department says Ralph Morrison turned himself into the U.S. Marshal's Service today in Texarkana.
The Howard County Sheriff's Department says the toddler's father, Ralph Morrison intentionally collided into a car to grab his daughter.
He also allegedly starting beating and stabbing the toddler's mother, Amaria Webster, with an ice pick. After grabbing the girl, police say he hitched a ride with at least three other people and could be driving an older cutlass. Police say he may also be headed to California.
The Sheriff's Department says Zahkairi appears to be unharmed, but was transported to a hospital for precautionary measures.
Morrison is being held on $250,000 bond. Deputies say warrants of arrest were issued for the kidnapping, as well as aggravated assault and domestic battery.
