Ross Wood pleads guilty in Zachary Mitchell's death

    SEARCY, Ark. (KTHV) - The fourth suspect charged with the murder of a Searcy janitor pleads guilty.

    According to prosecutor Chris Raff, Ross Wood pleaded guilty to the first degree murder of Zachary Mitchell. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

    He was to go on trial Monday.

    Sherod Shockley pleaded guilty in February and sentenced to 30 years, Maurice Alexander pleaded guilty Mar. 28 and received 20 years, and Devonte Nelson pleaded guilty as well.

    Mitchell was found dead Oct. 23 at Nephrology Associates. He had been shot in the chest.
