Arkansas Earth Day Festival
Heifer International Headquarters

Show Mother Earth lots of love at the ARKANSAS EARTH DAY FESTIVAL, where visitors will learn about green topics (hello recycling!), coo over cute animals visiting from the Heifer Ranch in Perryville and donate used household goods and e-waste to local non-profits. Held at the Heifer International Headquarters Campus, the event will also feature a rock-climbing wall for kids, a tie-dyeing activity, and craft-making using recycled materials and found objects. Digital Dialogues Family Festival

Saturday, 1 - 4 p.m.
Children can explore the technology-focused art exhibit "The New Materiality: Digital Dialogues at the Boundaries of Contemporary Craft" during this day specifically for families. In addition to seeing the works on view, visitors can explore technology and art through activities involving cameras, animation, robotics and more. 1-4 p.m. $5, $20 per family. Kids Cookin' for a Cause!

Kids ages 8-12 whip up sweets like chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, quick breads and muffins. After snacking on a few, they'll hold a bake sale to benefit Potluck Food Rescue, an organization that provides meals for hungry children in Arkansas. 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. $40.
