LOS ANGELES, Calif. (CNN/KTLA) -- Routine police chase in Los Angeles, right? Wrong.

As the van appears to slow to a stop, a woman, with what appears to be a gun, approaches and jumps onto the side of the moving van! You can see here she clings to the side and eventually climbs inside.

Police were in pursuit of a robbery suspect. The woman's involvement in the incident is unclear.

The chase ended with the van stopping and the woman surrendering to police. A K-9 was unleashed on the male driver.

He scrambled out of the van, only to have the dog latch onto his backside. Police cuffed him and collected cash that spilled out onto the roadway.
