UNDATED (USA Today) -- Jimmy Fallon found the ultimate partner for his "slow jam the news" bit last night.

"I'm President Barack Obama and I too want to slow jam the news," said the special guest on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

So the duo recited a hipster ballad about the president's student loan proposal, urging Congress to extend a low-interest rate provision as Fallon's house band, The Roots, provided a rhythm-and-blue beat.

The gig would not have been out of place in an Obama re-election commercial.

"Ohhhhh, yeahhhh," Fallon croons at one point. "You should listen to the president."

Another lyric refers to the president as "the Barack-ness monster."

At one point, Obama mocks Republicans by saying they're all for paying down the national debt, "so long as it doesn't include taxing billionaires."

In another lyric, Fallon says the GOP can threaten to filibuster, "but if they do, the president says they're going to feel it, buster!"

There are also jokes about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Tim Tebow, and the meaning of the term POTUS (which, as Oval readers know, stands for President of the United States).
