LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 3, 2012) - The purpose of the Miss Arkansas pageant is to raise scholarship funds to help young women across the state further their education.

Once again the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Foundation is holding a Four Person Scramble to raise funds for the scholarship foundation in the hopes of continuing to be the state that provides the most scholarships on the state level.

This golf outing will be held on Monday, May 21 at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and tee time will be at 1:00 p.m. The cost is $1,000.00 per team. There are still slots open for teams.

Prizes for the day include (awarded in two flights) $100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd and $50 for 3rd.

If you aren't a golfer but still want to support the organization, there are hole sponsorships available for $200.

The current Miss Arkansas, Kirsten Glover, will be on hand as well as all the contestants vying to be crowned Miss Arkansas 2012. Glover will be using the scholarship money she's earned through the organization to attend pharmacy school.

THV's Alyse Eady sat down with Glover on 'Today's THV This Morning' to talk more about her future plans and her most memorable moments as she prepares to hand over her crown. Click on the THVideo!

The 2012 pageant will again take place in Hot Springs July 11th - 14th .
