LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Union Rescue Mission held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Men's Facility that will be constructed at 2921 Confederate Boulevard.
This new facility will be approximately 13,000 square feet with 58 beds for rehab, 36 beds for the working homeless and 78 beds for homeless men. This facility will also include state-of-the-art technology. It is scheduled to be open in December of 2012.
The project architect is Aaron Ruby of Ruby Architects. The bid for the construction of the new facility was awarded by the Board of Directors on March 21, 2012 to Massey Construction Company.
