LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Wednesday the Little Rock Education Association to approve a deal that would give Little Rock School District teachers and staff a one-percent raise across the board.
According to Cathy Koehler, president of the LREA, the decision was unanimous.
The proposal came just days after the school board and the staff deadlocked on the issue of pay and benefits.
The proposal now goes to the school board for approval. Koehler says the decision should come as early as Friday.
