LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - To keep the tradition going, THV's Craig O'Neill declares the "Winners & Losers" from the last few days.
He starts with Sherwood Elementary, naming the kids there winners. The school's Odyssey of the Mind team will be headed to Iowa for the international games, and they're one of the favorites to win it all.
Another winner? Tasers. It's a good time to be a taser salesman. 300 more state troopers will be getting the devices after going through special training. Only 55 have them currently.
Craig declares UCA a loser this week as they lost another trustee over the food vendor Aramark controversy.
Another loser? Nicolas Sarkozy in the French presidential elections. Sarkozy was looking for another term, but had been viewed by many voters as being too divisive. Socialist Francois Holande now takes over.
Craig ends with a winner. He declares "I'll Have Another," the horse, as a winner. It got the name because the wife of the owner made such great cookies, her husband was known for saying, "I'll have another."
