LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Dozens of volunteers for the Arkansas chapter of Susan G. Komen Foundation are preparing to light up the night sky.

Illuminate the Cure will take place this Sunday, Mother's Day, at the Big Dam Bridge. Volunteers practiced launching the pink lanterns Thursday.

Lanterns can be purchased at www.komenarkansas.org and will be available for pick up at a will-call booth at the base of the Big Dam Bridge on both the Little Rock and North Little Rock sides.
