LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Bassmaster.com just released it's Top 25 Fishing Destinations in Arkansas. Here's a look at the top 5.
Number 1: The Arkansas River offers 300 miles of fish habitat from Oklahoma to Mississippi.
Number 2: Lake Hamilton, it's great for striper fishing and is home to two previous state record catches.
Number 3: Lake Ouachita, it's Arkansas' largest man-made lake and is also ideal for reeling in huge stripers.
Number 4: Millwood Lake, it has a lot of timber and structure and has lot of prime spots to catch bass.
And rounding out the top five: Greers Ferry Lake. It garnered national attention when an angler caught a world record 27.5 lbs. hybrid there back in 1997.
In fact, Greers Ferry is where Paige reeled in a 7 lb. hybrid last month. She also caught a huge bass. But that's not all, then she caught three fish at one time, all on a Alabama Rig.
Devin also caught more than one fish at a time a huge hybrid and bass. And John also reeled in a nice hybrid during their trip to Greer Ferry Lake.
Blake caught a huge bass on Grace Farm and Lathan did too.
This next picture will have you doing a double take. Joe went frog giggin' in Scott and came across this monster snake!!! He picked it up with a gig and let it go. It was more than 10 feet long!!!!
