LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Today's THV This morning was full of energy today.

We had a visit from Craig O'Neill and his wife, Jane Hankins, to talk to us about her new book Madge's Mobile Home Park. And Craig Joined Alyse to talk about our new efforts to track Project A+ Arkansas. It's our effort to track how a new theory in teaching works. A+ incorporates fine arts into every area of curriculum.

Plus, designer J. Kirt Thomas showed us how to spice up dreary old lamp shades without breaking the banks. Check out his do-it-yourself designer shades.

And Parent Educator Heather Bennett joined us to talk about how to help your kids deal with playground politics. Parents are key in helping children get mentally and emotionally prepared for making and losing friends. Check out her seven tips to surviving this often trying time with your kids.

We also shared another meal in a minute and five ways to help your kids learn how to deal with money early in life.

Coming up tomorrow Chris Olsen has some great gardening tips for you. He will talk about how to make your garden smell great with fragrant shrubs. And if you think that growing citrus here is difficult - be sure and catch his tips to make it work.
And for home and garden Wednesday we will share seven ways to give your home a facelift for free!
Plus, a video created by Henderson State University is getting a lot of attention online. We'll show you why and talk to the student and staff members behind the video our morning team fell in love with.
