LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Students at Park Hill Elementary got schooled on life lessons Monday from the North Little Rock Police Department.

"Take 25" teaches children to look out for strangers.

The NLR officers visited four schools Monday, and will visit four more Tuesday, in an effort to heighten awareness for children safety. A few students at Park Hill joined officer Tommy Norman in showing the entire group how to stay away from strangers.

Officer Norman encouraged kids to yell for help if a stranger approaches or tries to take them. He also reminded children to ask help from store employees if they got lost in a public area.

"Take 25" is a program of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and asks parents to take 25 minutes to go over safety measure with their kids.
