LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Here are some fun ideas for everyone.

Riverfest, May 25-27
The big event this week is Riverfest! The adult lineup will please eclectic music tastes with acts ranging from Snoop Dogg to Lynyrd Skynyrd, and there's plenty to entertain families too. The KidZone Playtime Promenade and Stage is located conveniently near the Peabody Playground & Water Park, where children can splash around in between listening to family-friendly concerts or participating in games, crafts and other activities. On the KidZone Stage, children can catch several sets from the Doo-Dads, a group of rockin' fathers from Kansas City. Or, watch funny acts from ventriloquist Wayne Francis. The main event for kids, the Grammy-nominated band Trout Fishing in America, will hit the stage on Sunday evening at 8 p.m., pause for the 9 p.m. fireworks show over the river, and then continue rocking out for youngsters.

There will also be plenty of FREE activities in the Arkansas Family Zone, located on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center and Heifer International: On the Family Stage, watch local dance troupes, including young cloggers, Irish dancers and performers from I CAN! Dance, as well as demonstrations from Kenya Safari Acrobats and others. Or, visit six countries in the International Village, including Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Germany, Spain and the United States to make crafts and learn about foreign traditions.

Family Fun Day at Plantation Agriculture Museum State Park, May 26 (10 am-2pm)
Join a museum interpreter and the staff at the Plantation Agriculture Museum for some FREE summer fun and festivities. The museum will be hosting games, crafts, and activities throughout the afternoon, including: 3-legged races, stilt races, bobbing for apples, bubble gum contests and more. Refreshments will include cold drinks and homemade hand-churned ice cream.

Memorial Day Palooza at Lake Catherine State Park, May 25-28
Spend the holiday weekend camping on the lake, and take advantage of Lake Catherine State Park's FREE programs. Park interpreters will lead hikes, lake tours and nature programs. Families can participate in swimming, games, crafts and a sandcastle competition, too.
