LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV)- Little Rock police say a teen was accidentally shot and killed at a home on Grand Street.
Police say a 14-year-old was with a 13-year-old boy, playing with a gun. Sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the gun went off and shot the 14-year-old.
According to police, the 911 call didn't come in until just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning. At this point, police say the 13-year-old is not being charged.
Police say they're turning the information over to the prosecutor to determine if charges will be filed.
Adults were allegedly in the home at the time of the shooting, but police are working to identify whom. The Department of Human Services is also involved because of the conditions of the home.
According to Lt. Hastings with Little Rock police, the boy was a runaway, and was just hanging out at the house where the shooting occurred.
