LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Wakarusa Music Festival will take over Mulberry Mountain in the Ozarks May 31 - June 3.

The festival started in 2004 in Lawrence, Kansas and moved to the scenic Ozark Mountains in Arkansas.

This year will be the fourth year Wakarusa has taken place in Arkansas. Many concert goers will come from across the state and across the country to camp out and listen to dozens of different artists.

This year's artist lineup has artists from all kinds of music genres like Girl Talk, Fitz & The Tantrums, Matisyahu, Keller Williams and many more.

Wakarusa also promotes sustainability and also going green. They promote using recyclable materials while camping and for the smokers in attendance to take care of their cigarette butts and not leave them. They are also giving away band merchandice and Wakarusa t-shirts for those who do turn in recyclables.
